Cara is my go to spot when I’m back in LA for work or fun. The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic. The food at the restaurant is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. They serve Maru coffee. The bar has wonderful drinks and ambience. They sometimes have live music in the courtyard which is lovely. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds and bedding are fabulous. They have an extensive room service menu. Laundry service is available. Griffith Park and Los Feliz are within walking distance. Most of all the folks who work at Cara are gems. From the reservation to your arrival to your stay to your departure, everyone is kind and helpful. Alex is a superstar and makes every visit perfection. I will keep coming back to stay at his oasis.

We had dinner at Cara Hotel’s restaurant, and everything was great. The steak, salmon, and tuna were all delicious. The restaurant has a stunning atmosphere, with a pool in the center surrounded by palm trees, giving it a calm and tropical vibe. It’s a beautiful spot to enjoy a relaxed meal in LA, both for the food and the scenery. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful and elegant dining experience.

The Cara hotel is gorgeous. Tucked away, it is a delightful paradise. dining by the cool pool waters was a nice touch, and the dinner menu was broad. i recommend going for the higher priced items are they tasted better in my opinion. the staff and bartenders are exceptional. the room was dim, but nicely decorated. i loved my balcony. i highly recommend for a nice dinner out or for weekend drinks!

The Cara Hotel was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful as we navigated the planning process. The ambiance was chic, fun, and aesthetically pleasing. The entire staff seemed genuinely dedicated to ensuring our enjoyment on our special day. Charlie in particular was flexible and listened closely to all of our requests throughout the process. They also worked closely with us to adjust the outdoor spaces in creative ways, creating different vibes for our guests throughout the evening. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious and coursed exactly on schedule, which is rare for many weddings. We couldn't have asked for a better venue partner to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!

I stayed here for just one night but from the moment I arrived I was met with the best hospitality. Brian had me checked in promptly and even carried my luggage up the two flights of stairs and all the way into my room. They even upgraded my room type b/c they had the availability. LOVE that! The bed was super comfy and while there was some noise from the restaurant outside I had no problem falling asleep at a reasonable time. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks Brian and the team at Cara!

I love the Cara. Every little detail is impeccable, it’s unbelievably relaxing and chic. Everyone wants to come visit for the lemon pasta. Staff is delightful and accommodating with my hectic schedule and I extend my work trips to stay here longer because I love it that much. It’s a good location, central to a lot in the city. Pro tip: there’s a Daiso next door to grab cute Japanese gifts and supplies.

Had a really wonderful stay here on Sunday. The hotel is beautiful and clean with fresh flowers everywhere. At check in our bags were carried to our room, which was a nice touch. All of the staff was very helpful and attentive. The rooms are small and very close to the outdoor restaurant, buy honestly this did not bother us at all. The small room is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. The robes and slippers are nice touches that give this hotel an overall cozy feel. At 10pm we could still hear people at the restaurant, but it wasn't very loud and was easily drown out by the TV. We also really enjoyed the attached restaurant and bar. Great food and service at both. This is the perfect hotel to stay at if you are looking to do a hike to the Griffith Observatory. It is a short walk from the hotel to the park and then you can access the hiking trails there. No need to take your car out of valet! Two things to be warned about: 1. Be prepared to valet immediately and have your bags ready to carry in. There is no place to pull up and park momentarily except for the valet station. 2. Influencers. This place has a lot of them and more than once they decided to have a photoshoot in public places where people are walking through the hotel. Just walk through their photos and ruin them lol. Cheers!

This review is to give a huge shoutout to Max, who was an absolutely amazing bartender in the front room bar space and made my birthday so special yesterday! His service was exceptional from start to finish, and thanks to his great energy and vibes, we ended up staying for hours. Thank you, Max, for helping create the perfect birthday celebration! The live music was a beautiful touch! Before that, we also enjoyed brunch, and I have to say—the property itself is stunning. It truly feels like a little European getaway right in the city. We’ll definitely be coming back!
